[Class 65 (i).] A catch lever 8 pivoted to the bottom of a swinging mirror is adapted to engage a rack or perforated plate 1 mounted on the base of the mirror support. The engaging end 12 of the catch lever is weighted to engage automatically with the plate 1, and is so shaped that it will ride out of or over the holes (or teeth) in the plate when the mirror is pulled forwards, until it meets the stop 13, but the mirror cannot be moved backwards unless the handle 10 of the catch lever is depressed.
