[Class 54.] The sealing space e around the disc or floor a of a waterless gas holder c is supplied with grease from a leather bellows r or a cylinder fitted with a movable piston by the pressure of a weighted lever x. The lever x is linked to a lever v which when the bellows r is empty operates a switch u to start an electrically driven pump e to refill the bellows from a container n. When the bellows is again full the switch is operated to stop the pump. Simultaneously with the operation of the switch u the lever v may also operate valves y, z controlling the passage of the grease into and out of the bellows r. A flexible sheet iron wall h carrying ledges g, f above and below the sealing space e is pressed outwardly by liquid i which may be heated in cold weather by a device k. The bellows r may be provided with a separate heating device. A number of bellows at different points around a holder may be supplied from a large container by a single pump.
