[Classes 97 (i) and 98 (ii).] In episcopic projection apparatus, particularly for projecting from metal films, the angle of incidence of the light beam upon the film is adjustable. As shown, a projection lens d carries a circular bow g rotatable about it, and the bow carries lamps i and condensers k adjustably secured thereon by clamps h. A concave mirror may be placed on either side of the lamp system, and may be secured to the bow. The film b may be frosted by means of stripes or may have fine parallel grooves, and the stripes may be parallel to the length of the film, or inclined at a right-angle or other angle thereto.
