[Class 60.] Trueing rotating tools.-A trueing-device for the wheel of a machine for grinding splined shafts, gears, &c., comprises a pair of tools for trueing the side faces mounted on arms on inclined spindles which are rocked through levers by a reciprocating cross-bar actuated by a cam on the spindle of the tool for trimming the periphery. The wheel r is trued on its periphery by a tool c mounted on a spindle b which is oscillated by a handle d. Tools l for the side faces are carried on arms k on spindles j which are oscillated to move the tools across the faces of the wheel by a cam e on the spindle b engaging a slidable member g in turn engaging a rod o which carries a cross-bar n adapted to rock levers m on the shafts j. The member i supporting the tools l and their operating mechanism is removable, and may be replaced by others having the spindles arranged at different angles.
