[Class 18.] A confectionery &c. box or carton with a flexible sliding cover is made from a blank shown in Fig. 4 of which the parts 14-17 form grooves shown in Fig. 3 in which slides a lid constituted by parts 33 which are foldable so that the lid can be extended or collapsed. A tab 35, Fig. 6, serves for manipulating the lid which is held in the closed position by an end 33a engaging a groove 20, 21. Two such lids may be used and the grooves formed by the parts 14-17 may be constituted by pieces separately attached.
