[Class 68 (i)] [See also Group VIII] In proofing and hardening by the process described in the parent Specification, ground, masonry,. &c., below water level or exposed to water currents, use is made of a previously prepared mixture of an aqueous bituminous dispersion and fillers such that the dispersion is not coagulated thereby, and the mixture is caused to coagulate directly at the desired spot by contacting it with an electrolyte. The mixture is preferably supplied between concentric tubes and the electrolyte through the central tube. Examples of mixtures are given.
