[Class 66] The full width end aperture of a collapsable tube is provided with separate spring closure means adapted to open to permit delivery of the contents on pressure being applied to the tube, and means adapted to be removed or destroyed by the user are provided for initially sealing the aperture. In the form shown in Fig. 1, the doubled or folded end of the tube 1. is engaged by a slotted springy clip 2 formed with indentations 3 adapted to bite into the material, the exposed folds a being cut through when it is desired to use the tube. Fig. 6 shows a form in which the tube end is slit along the edges, the flaps 1a being turned backwardly over a wire loop clip 2a and adhered to the body portion. In this construction, and in the one described above in the case where the end has been cut open at the factory, a seal 4 of paper, foil or cement, glue or other adhesive is provided, or a removable cap is applied to the end.
