[Class 140] A box corner stay strip is made by shrinking a paper strip by gumming or gluing one surface thereof, and then sticking to the ungummed surface thereof another strip of material, e.g. paper, by means of an adhesive, e.g. asphaltum, with transversely extending unspun reinforcing filaments, e.g. sisal, extending between the strips.
