[Classes 96 and 140] [Also in Group XV] Correctable tracing paper or tracing cloth A has a protective layer B of cellulose nitrate, resin lacquer, &c. and a filler of talc, magnesia, &c. and optionally a softener, e.g. tricresyl phosphate, such layer B absorbing the drawing ink C but preventing it reaching the paper &c. A. The ink, which contains a solvent for the cellulose nitrate &c. may comprise shellac in alcohol and water, spirit lacquer, tricresyl phosphate, &c., and lamp black. The ink C may be erased, or washed off, and the protective layer B restored.
