[Class 108 (ii)] [Also in Group XXXI] The gear casing 19, is provided with a strap or stirrup 26 bolted or otherwise attached to the chassis frame, brackets 26a being formed on the strap for the attachment of pivoted links 32, 33 by which the driven steering wheels are connected to the casing and chassis. By disconnecting the casing from the frame the whole power unit and the driving wheels may be readily removed, one or more detachable castor wheels 100 being provided for ready manipulation. The suspension spring is bolted at its centre to the strap 26 and is connected at its ends by shackles 42 to the pivots 41 of the lower links 33. The inner pivots 27 of the upper suspension links 32 are widely spaced as shown in Fig. 3, and the pivots 28 of the lower links 33 are adjustable along brackets 35a by means of bolts 35 so as to vary the cant of the steering wheels. The outer ends of the links are pivoted at 39 and 41 to hemispherical members 37 to which the steering swivel 63a is connected by pivot pins 44.
