[Class 5 (i)] A fly-catcher comprises an endless band 1 passing through a container the upper part 211 of which is provided with a receptacle 4 for adhesive and with a pinion 8 driven by a handle for moving the band past elastic knives 5 for removing dead flies &c. from the band. The band passes through slots 11, 6 in the container and past an adhesive-spreading device in the receptacle 4.
