[Class 60] A depth peg is formed so as to engage the collette of a diamond adjustably near the rondist and the apex. For this purpose a tubular member C, adjustable by a knob h, is provided with a conical edge for engaging the diamond B near the rondist BSP1/SP which is gripped by the jaws A. Inside the tubular member is a short tube D engaging the apex of the collette and adjusted by a peg F which is engaged by the end of a screwed rod G. ESP1/SP and GSP2/SP are locking nuts.
