To enable a connector unit 7 to be easily inserted in a bus-bar assembly 3 having circular, part-circular or arcuate sectioned busbars 1, 1SP1/SP, the unit has contact-pins 11, 11SP1/SP with V-shaped recesses 14 to contact the bus-bars, the unit and the assembly being held together by a lever-catch 23, 24, 25 bridging both. Preferably the bus-bars are supported in insulating blocks 2 having bores 6 which guide the pins 11, 11SP1/SP against the bus-bars, the pins being spring-urged into contact. To ensure correct coupling one pin 11SP1/SP and the bore therefor are of different size from the others and projecting guides 22 on the unit slide into corresponding bores on the bus-bar assembly. The contactpins are connected to fuses 17 in the unit by conducting metal loops 18.
