Class 44 A fastener for securing a panel or other article to an apertured support comprises a flat base plate 1 provided with snap fastener means 5 situated within the edges of the plate 1 and extending normally thereto for engagement in an aperture 6 in a support 4, one side edge of the base plate having an extension 2 bent back to overlap the plate to form a pocket to receive a panel 3 or the like to be secured to the support. The snap fastener means comprises a resilient strip bent to form fingers having shoulders 9 and a base portion 7.
