Addition to 638,703, [Group XXVIII], Class 122(ii) [Also in Group XXVIII] A lubricant container and pump (see Group XXVIII) are raised by a piston 26 operated by compressed air admitted through a valve 30 which is closed by a member 34 secured to a rod 33 when the latter is engaged by a shoulder 32. The member 34 opens an exhaust valve 36 simultaneously, thereby allowing the piston 26 to fall. A notched extension 37 of the rod 33 is engaged by a spring-loaded plunger to ensure the sudden opening and closing of the valves.
