[Also in Group XV] A pen for drawing or tracing comprises a barrel 1 in one end of which a bush 2 is screwed, the bush carrying a sleeve 6 on which legs 8, 81 are pivotally mounted. A sleeve 10 screwed on the sleeve 6 carries a pointer 18 which cooperates with a scale on a ring 11 fixed to the sleeve 6 to indicate the distance apart of the legs 8, 8SP1/SP in order that lines of the required thickness may be drawn. A tube 5 connects the legs with a collapsable sac 4 for the supply of ink. A needle 15 secured to a cap 12 is provided for cleaning the tube 5.
