A system of condenser coils for use in refrigeration apparatus includes an intake header 10 having an inlet 30 for gaseous refrigerant, an off-take header 11 for oil carried over with the refrigerant and an outlet header 13 having outlets 37 for condensed refrigerant, each of the headers being closed at its ends and including a number of releasably interconnected co-axial tubular parts 15 (see Fig. 4), at least one sinuous tube 14 connecting each part of the inlet header 10 to a corresponding part of the oil header 11 and at least one sinuous tube connecting the said part of the oil header to a corresponding part of the outlet header 13, an oil tank 12 being provided to receive oil collected by the header 11. In the preferred form (Fig. 4) each header section 15 is spigoted into an adjacent section and is provided externally with lugs 23, the two end sections having additionally, clamping bars 21 which together with lugs 23 are apertured to receive rods 24, the assembly being clamped together by nuts 25, 26 on the rods 24, with a gasket interposed between adjacent sections. The oil tank 12 is provided with a drain cock 36.
