Class 6 (3) A potato harvester comprises a share S which delivers potatoes on to the upper face of the lower run of an endless conveyer M which passes at one end upwards and around a rotary drum HSP20/SP provided with a conveyer L on to which the crop is deposited and which delivers the crop to the front end of a longitudinally disposed conveyer P. The conveyers which are preferably of the perforated, reticulated or grid type are driven by gearing from the tractor power shaft and slipping clutches may be incorporated. The machine frame is pivotally mounted on two beams F which are connected to the tractor. The front of the frame is adjustably attached to the beams F to vary the working depth of the share S. The beams F are attached to a transverse beam C on which are mounted castor wheels W. Plates U, X, Y are provided to retain the potatoes on the conveyers. As described in the Provisional Specification a rotating brush is used in place of the drum HSP20/SP and conveyer L.
