Parts for watches, clocks and similar apparatus

Parts for instrument (e.g. watch, clock or meter) mechanisms are made of a Cu-Ni-Mn-Co alloy in which the Cu content is at least 20 per cent, the Ni and Mn contents are each not greater than 48 per cent whilst their total is at least 50 per cent, and the Co content is 1-20 per cent. Examples are given whose compositions fall with the ranges: Cu 20-43 per cent, Ni 10-34 per cent, Mn 23-48 per cent, Co 1-20 per cent.
