[Also in Groups XXV and XL (a)] A retainer, for plug-in electric circuit elements, e.g. relays, mounted on a panel or chassis, includes a yoke or harness 5 fitted on the envelope of the element 1 at a location remote from the panel or chassis A, two coil spring ties 10, 11, each secured at one end to the yoke or harness and two anchoring members passing through apertures in the panel or chassis and having screw-threaded parts screwed into the other ends of the spring ties and parts, integral with the screw-threaded parts, which cannot pass through the apertures and which are located on the side of the panel or chassis remote from the element. The anchoring members may comprise screws 23, Fig. 1, or modified versions of the studs described in the parent Specification. The screws may be of metal or of insulating material and insulating washers may be interposed between the ends of the spring ties 10 and the chassis or panel A. As shown, the yoke 5 is of rigid insulating material and may be formed with a central apertured dome-shaped portion. It may be secured to the spring ties by separate screws or by screws formed integrally with the yoke. Alternatively, yokes or harnesses of the kind shown in the parent Specification and Specifications 664,457, 629,285, 602,741 and 629,229 may be employed. In a further embodiment the yoke comprises an annulus 28, Fig. 6, provided with 2 pairs of apertures 29, 30 joined by grooves 31 which receive the bights of 2 glass fibre cords threaded through the apertures and joined to the spring ties by means of ceramic links of the kind described in the parent Specification.
