A harrow comprises resilient strip-shaped tines 16, the plane of each strip extending parallel to the direction of travel of the harrow or being inclined at an angle of less than 60 degrees to the direction of travel. Groups of tines are connected together by resilient strips 14 which extend in a direction substantially parallel to the direction of travel and transverse strips 15 are provided. As shown the strips 14 may be bent into a zig-zag shape and the tines may be of different lengths. The tines may be provided with tongues bent in opposite directions and clamped by plates between the strips 14, 15.
