[Also in Division B8] In animal feeding apparatus, particularly for beet fodder, the fodder is fed from a store 5 by a conveyer 1 which is located in a channel 4 having openings 6 which communicate with chambers 7 located above a manger 8 and each comprising telescopic members 9, 10 whereby the volume of the chamber 7 may be adjusted. The lower member 10 is formed as a bucket or box having a hinged base 11 held in the closed position by a hook 16, means being provided for releasing the hooks 16 simultaneously to discharge the fodder into the manger. Additional tube members may be inserted between the members 9, 10.
