[Also in Divisions H1 and H4] In an anticollision and landing radar system (see Division H4) the range data is displayed on a multicolour C.R.T. having radially arranged phosphors 11, 13, 15, 17, 19 of five different colours. A spiral scan is employed, Fig. 2 (not shown), and each phosphor is scanned for 3300 Ásec., the range data display, however, only takes up 600 Ásec. of this time and the remaining time may be used for the display of additional information such as weather radar.
