[Also in Division F4] A device for supporting portions of tubes or rod-like members or portions of a single tube or rod-like member of zig-zag or like shape on an apertured support comprises a body 1 formed of synthetic plastics material having a plurality of tube or rod supporting elements 2 projecting integrally from one face each having means for supporting a portion of a tube or rod-like member, and two or more studs 8 projecting integrally from the opposite face for fastening engagement in apertures in the support. In the device shown each of the tube or rod supporting elements 2 includes opposed resilient limbs 3, 4 defining a C shaped recess 5 the inner upper faces 3a, 4a of the limbs tapering outwardly to form a throat leading to the recess 5 and the inner ends of the tapered faces forming, with the adjacent wall of the recess, shoulders 6. In use the tube or rod portion to be supported is inserted through the throat so as to snap past the shoulders 6 which retain it in the recess. Three studs 7 are provided each of which is hollow and formed with tear-drop shaped projections 8 on oppositely disposed portions of the outer surface. The position of maximum thickness of each projection provide shoulders 9 so that the stud can be snap engaged with an aperture. Posts 10 are aligned with the end studs on the opposite face of the body. The device can be used for supporting a zig-zag condenser tube assembly of a refrigerator unit on the back panel of a domestic refrigerator.
