[Also in Division E1] A floating unit for the storage of a fluid, in particular a petroleum product, comprises a vessel 1 provided with storage tanks 2, a first body 4 firmly secured to the bows by steel structure 3 and a second body 5 rotatably secured to the first body 4 so that the bodies can rotate relative to each other around a vertical axis. Anchor chains 9 are secured to the underside of the second body 5, a fluid line 6 is secured to the second body 5 and a fluid line 7 leads to the tanks 2 of the vessel 1. Coupling 10 rotatably interconnects the fluid lines.
