[Also in Division C2] A therapeutic composition comprises the antibiotic 460 or one or more of its components A, B and C in the form of the free base or a non-toxic derivative, and a carrier. The derivative is a salt with an inorganic or an organic acid e.g. HCl, H 2 SO 4 , H 3 PO 4 , toluene sulphonic, succinic, cholic or acetylsalicylic acid, a N- or O- acyl compound, a bisulphite addition product or a sulphonamide. Optional ingredients are other antibiotics, analgesics and proteolytic enzymes. The compositions may be for internal or external use.
