[Also in Division E1] A profiled board comprises a polyurethane hard foam panel 14 having a backing foil or sheet 12, 13 uniformly bonded to each opposite face thereof and an outer cover 15 having parallel extending ridges 18, 18a bonded to one of the two foils or sheets and projecting beyond two adjacent side edges of the panel. The boards may include ventilation channels 21 formed by tubes extending transversely through the foam panel and opposed edges of the foam panel may be of stepped construction. Exemplified materials for the backing foils or sheets are bitumenized cardboard, rubber, synthetic resin or metal, foil or sheet 13 preferably being of corrugated, grooved or ribbed construction. The cover 15 may be of metal or synthetic resin.
