[Also in Divisions E2B and F1J] Inner and outer cylindrical parts, e.g. a missile propellant charge body 10 and a jet nozzle 1, are secured together by a circlip 12 lying in grooves 4, 11 in the two ports, with radial clearance, a ramp 6 being provided on groove 4, and circumferential clearance being provided between the two ports, so that one may be tilted within the other, Fig. 3, to compress the circlip on the ramp, so that the ports may be released from one another. A packing ring 14 holds the circlip clear of the ramp in normal use, and mutual axial or tilting movement of the bodies is normally prevented by a rubber ring 16.
