Conveyor is used with filling and closing machines, where the packages are conveyed to individual processing points for filling and closing by elements moving to and fro in a longitudinal direction as well as capable of lifting and lowering. A moulding cell (3) without a base receiving an empty packaging cover (6) is adjustable by a drive lever on a slide (7) carried on two horizontal rods (8) with a pair of rods (9) directed downwards being fitted to the lower side of the slide. The longer of the two rods (9) having a guide shoe (11) at the lower end runs in the end position of the drive lever on to a roller (14) attached with a second roller to a swivel lever (13) with the filling of the packages taking place with the moulding cell raised and the ejection of the filled and closed packages (22) by the succeeding empty packaging cover introduced into the moulding cell.
