Profiles are produced from a thermoplastic material contg. a blowing agent by dividing the flow of thermoplastic material from a single extruder into an exterior flow, which is subjected over at least a part of its path to cooling sufficiently intense to prevent the expansion of the thermoplastic material in this exterior flow, and an interior flow over whose path a pressure release enable the thermoplastic material to expand.
