The coating materials consist of (A) =1 acrylate or methacrylate ester with a =10 C alkyl gp contg. =1 OH, mercapto, CN, alkoxy or thio-ether substit. gp, and/or benzyl acrylate, (B) a cellulose ether or ester soluble and (C) opt. further low or high molecular substances. Materials give films of good deformability and hardness at relatively low radiation doses.
