The press consists of a tubular container which is mounted on a trolley. The tubular container can be lifted and placed inside a sack. A press plate can be moved into the tubular container by means of a motor driven screw spindle which is mounted from a beam over the container. Two cables are attached to the top of the press plate. These cables run over pulleys, which are also mounted on this beam. The other sides of these cables are attached to blocks which run in guide rails mounted at the side of the container. The container has two pins at its side near the top. These pins fit in holes in the guide blocks, so that when the press plate is moved down, the container is pulled up by the cables and the sack which was placed round the container remains on the trolley.
