Spot welding gun positioner - to swivel in three co ordinates by three shafts and gearing

A spot welding gun is mounted on a head which can be turned by a drive shaft around the X-X axis. The head can also be swivelled on a support around the Y-Y axis. A third shaft can turn the whole assembly by gearing in a horizontal plane through 90 deg. so that the Y-Y axis can now be used as the Z-Z axis, around which the support can be turned.
