Portable radio signal field strength survey indicator - gives audio tone approximately proportional to field strength using voltage-frequency transducer

A portable measuring set is used to determine the field strength of radio signals. It has acoustic indication, especially a receiver for determining favourable receiving locations for signals in the 12 GHz band by indications of field-strength. - The instrument gives an indication of field-strength on an indicating instrument (7) and also contains a voltage/frequency transducer (9) to convert the signal to a tone varying approximately in proportion to field strength in an audio range suitable for aural observation.
