A transistor amplifier comprises a long-tailed pair 1, 2 having negative feedback paths comprising resistors 6, 7 respectively between their respective collectors and bases, the resistance valves of which are each twice as great as the common emitter resistance 3 to provide a high common mode rejection ratio. The admittance of impedances 6, 7 preferably lies between y 21 and the other parameters of the transistors.
