The virus may be I.P.V. virus (otherwise known as infectious pustular vulvovaginitis, Exanthema coitale vesiculosum bovis or cattle blister rash), pseudorabies virus or influenza virus. It may be passaged on calf kidney, suprarenal or testicular tissue. The attenuated virus may be compounded with a liquified gaseous diluent, isotonic fluid, a buffer solution, a liquid having a molecular weight of 200 or more or a solid diluent. The composition may be used as tablets, pills, dragees, capsules, ampoules for intramuscular injection or nasal sprays, or suppositories. They may be applied to cattle or pigs.
