Sinter mfr - by perforating sinter bed to increase permeability and firing speed

Sinter is mfd. on a belt from partic Fe minerals, by making 1-10 pref. 5mm dia. vertical holes through the sinter bed upstream of the firing burner and the perforators are situated above the sinter bed and move parallel to and at the same speed as the belt.
