It may be prepd. by reacting stoichiometric amounts of dihydroquinidine and polymannuronic acid, either in free form or as organic or inorganic salts, at 70-75 degrees C in the presence of a solvent until the pH of the soln. is practically 7, then isolating the salt formed.
