Film drive for narrow gauge cine camera - has claw driven by eccentric gearing from rotary shutter with thrust and retraction by indented slide

Claw drive mechanism assigned to the gate of a cine camera is esp. suitable for narrow gauge film. The claw (5a) is located in front of the rotary shutter (3) and is driven by an eccentric drive unit (4, 6) which is toothed and driven in turn by the rotary shutter. The eccentric drive (4, 6) is transmitted to the claw lever (5) for the vertical movement. The claw (5a) protrudes and retracts through an aperture (7) in the gate face plate according to the location of an indentation, and its synchronisation, in a rear slide plate (8) and under spring pressure.
