Contact socket for electrical installation equipment, particularly for power outlets, comprises a screwless terminal located in part of the socket contact. The free limbs of a U-shaped clip-frame have grooved or semicircular guides on their inner faces for receiving a plug-pin and at least one bare end of a conductor wire. One limb has a quick-way for receiving the pin and the other limbs has one or more guideways for receiving one or more ends of the conductor wires. A pressure piece and a clamping piece are movably mounted in the centre limb and a pressure spring is located between them to press and hold the plug pin and the conductor wire ends in the grooved guides.
