Piston and cylinder lip seal - with a film of carbon, graphite or bronze filled PTFE vulcanised onto it

The seal is especially for the operational piston of a vehicle hydraulic brake cylinder in which the outer casing surface of the lip seal consists of a material with a low coefficient of friction and high abrasive resistance in relation to the cylinder wall whilst the remaining part of the lip seal is formed of a material of higher elasticity. Pref. the outer casing surface is formed from a vulcanised film of PTFE possibly filled with carbon, graphite or bronze.
