Flow distributor for heat exchanger head - producing uniform flow

The system uses cooling air counterflow and has a head fitted with an inlet. Inside the head an inclined baffle plate is uniformly perforated and allows flow through to a collecting chamber below, where the now still liquid then escapes vertically via a mumber of outlets and ribbed pipes surrounded by the air current. Turbulent flow into the head is converted to a uniform flow through the system, which is effective for varying inlet rates.
