The adjustable support for storage racks which reduces the number of loose pieces required, speeds up assembly and gives a solid construction. The foot (36) at each end of the inverted U-section support (35) is swung aside on a pivot (37). The support is held in place by inserting the upper (38) and lower (39) locking tabs of each foot in the slots (12) provided in the rack uprights (10). A security strap (40) is pushed on to butt against a shoulder (41) on each foot to hold the assembly together. Holes (35) are provided to position the shelf trays.
