This is suitable for high-speed transport systems, e.g. air cushion vehicles. The individual track sections, of reinforced or prestressed concrete, are laid as pref. full-width prefabricated flat slabs, on top of an appropriate substructure, and then rotated and/or twisted at their end faces about the longitudinal axis of the lateral tilt required, and/or bent about an axis vertical to the longitudinal axis for the requisite gradient slope, before being finally fixed in position, pref. with interventing layers of site concrete between sections. The substructure is pref. a support grid of prefabricated reinforced-concrete components, with pairs of longitudinal beams connected by cross beams. These may be adjustable for height on site-concrete foundations. Tracks with the required exacting degree of accurate contouring can be quickly laid.
