The fastener comprises a notched rail on which is moved a slide member which has an angled lift-up lever whose shorter arm engages in the gaps between the notches of the rail. To provide a more secure engagement which is not liable to come undone in the event of strain, the shorter arm of the lever has two projections lying one behind the other in the longitudinal direction of the rail and thus fit into two different notches of the rail, the distance between the two projections corresponding to the spacing between the notches, or to double this spacing.
