Cable duct for underfloor or wall-inset - has support rails with slots to accept duct-edges and retention beading

The cable ducting, for underfloor or wall-inset elec. installations etc., has a C-shaped cross-section with its outward-facing edges bent over so that they are plane-parallel to the rear wall of the duct. The bent-edges engage in slots in support rails running along the duct. These rails have outward-open slots to accept the edges of the cover plate's retention heading. Bolts can be tightened from above the top rail and from below the bottom rail to deform the sides of these outward-open slots so that the retention beading's edges are held firmly.
