The inflatable boat has two sets of inflatable reeds, one set above the other to form the sidewalls. The front section is profiled into a stub-nosed bows, with the upper reed reaching over the lower one to form the bows. The rear transom is fitted with securing points for an outboard support board. A detachable roof section has inflatable ribs coupled to one of the reeds by a detachable hose, while a folding keel section provides stability. The craft can be used for pleasure, without the roof, and with an outboard, or as a rescue craft, with the roof fitted and with automatic inflation via gas bottles. Manual inflation for pleasure work is via a second set of valves.
