Air blown drying chamber for moist material - has air recirculation system to mix primary and secondary air flows to maintain drying efficiency

A drying chamber with recirculatory air flow system has an under floor section and a floor section with ventilation grids. A vertical shaft has a conical inlet and a direct connection to the under floor section. An injector system is attached to a primary air inlet duct through which heated air is passed. This air stream is directed down the shaft to the under floor section. Venturi effects drag secondary air down the shaft to mix with the hot primary air and recirculate through the grids, into the material to be dried. The temperature difference between the primary injected air and the secondary air already circulating is 30-220 deg.C. An exit ducts one provided at the top of the dryer chamber.
