The tool consists of a housing, a solid laser and supply equipment for the laser which is mounted in the housing. Supply cables and tubes are attached to the housing which feed current, water and gas to a pipe which is attached to the end of the housing. A telescopic pipe with focusing optics is mounted over the pipe attached to the housing. The housing incorporates a grip with switches for the supplies. The telescopic pipe in which the optics are mounted forms at the same time the jet for the gas outlet. The ends of the telescopic pipe are cut away at an angle leaving two rounded points.
