Stud-welding table - for accurate location of welding gun above sheet-metal parts

A sheet to which studs etc. are to be welded is clamped on a work-table above which =1 welding gun is mounted in a holder. Two slides, moving in horizontal X and Y directions are mounted ove the table on guide-rods, each slide possessing a measured scale so they can be continuously moved to a precise location, the welding gun is mounted on the upper slide, using a swivel mounting, and due to the slides, can be accurately positioned. The device pref. incorporates a template table for guiding the welding gun across the metal sheet. Rapid, accurate location of bolts, studs, bushes etc. is obtained and the sheet is clamped on one fixed table.
